Address: Republ1c Wakepark West Diversity Boulevard Nuvali, Sta. Rosa, Laguna Monday to Thursday (08:30am - 05:30pm) Friday to Sunday (08:30am - 10:00pm) Wakeboarding is the sport of riding on a short, wide board resembling a surfboard and performing acrobatic maneuvers while being towed behind a motorboat or in some cases, a cable. I'm not a big fan of water sports, I have a fear of drowning. But then again, who doesn't have? We first decided to try this sport when Hubb's (Ron) college friends invited us. I was very nervous at that time. But if you come to think about it, the sport was quite safe. You'll be wearing a vest so you'll never drown (if you're not a swimmer) and if ever you'll fall, you will fall on water (pretty normal for beginners) which is not painful compared to falling on a pavement. You'll find that this sport is about balance. It'll come easier I guess, if you have a little background experience from skateboarding or surfing. We only ride in the Beginner's lake for 4 hours during our visits and it is best to visit in the morning. In the afternoon however, are the time most pros come to ride. It's a pretty spectacular view hoe they ride flawlessly in the Pro lake. I highly suggest that you try the sport first before buying your own gears, including your own board. In the meantime, you can rent wakeboarding gears upon check-in at the park. I'm a big lover of the color pink and was priveledged to be given by Hubb (Ron) my own vest. If you find the sport fun, you can check out their shop of wakeboarding goods located just at the entrance of the park. Rating (out of 5) Ron EJ
