The place is well preserved and has a white sand beach. You have the choice of either pitching a tent or renting a hut. In our case, when we visited, we did both. Some of the guys pitched their tent and some of us stayed in the Nipa Hut. It was a two-storey hut that can accomodate up to 10 people. I highly advise those who are planning to visit this place to bring your necessities like water. We came unprepared and opted to buy EVERYTHING from the public market which you'll come across to before you transfer to the island via a 45-minute ride. Although there is a store inside the beach, I suggest that you bring everything you think you'll need, from lighters to charcoal, from pots and pans to other cooking utensils because buying inside the beach is double to triple the price. If you'll be able to wake up very early in the morning, you might also be able to buy from local fishermen who happen to pass by the beach, fresh fish (big ones) in a much cheaper price than the public market. We also went island hopping during our stay (which is only 2 days). We were able to haggle our boat ride and we were able to visit 2 islands. We were able to visit the Mangrove Island and this is best visited at 11am to 4pm, during low tide and also enjoy walking in the sandbar. On our way home, we were allowed to swim near the boat and enjoy the crystal clear ocean. This is one place you'll definitely go back to. Rating (out of 5) Ron EJ
